We have a constantly changing selection of bows in all price ranges. At the time of writing highlights include two cello bows, by Pajeot and by Voirin, a violin bow by Dodd and two bows by W.E.Hill & Sons, a silver-mounted violin bow by Thomassin, and a beautiful bow by Gustave Bazin. I had a perfect Sartory, for about five minutes, before I sold it to somebody from London. Also I had a Fetique not long enough to advertise. Do please contact me to find out what is available. There is an interesting French violin bow which has a frog with a with a rounded heel, at £1,500, and a beautiful early silver and tortoiseshell-mounted fleur-de-lys violin bow by W.E. Hill & sons in mint condition, and an interesting transitional ironwood ivory-mounted cello bow at £900. I have another excellent antique tortoiseshell-mounted bow which weighs 57g (difficult to export) at £500. From time to time I have new bows by Stephen Bristow - but these, of course, usually sell as quickly as I can get them. I have good German bows by Nurnberger, Paezold, Pfretzschner, Prager, Weichold and Winterling.

W.E.Hill & Sons BowA fine silver and tortoiseshell-mounted "fleur-de-lys" violin bow by W.E.Hill & Sons. This is an early example, made by Frank Donald Napier, probably in 1926. It has Napier's mark on the head plate and the slide grooves extend all the way to the end of the stick - after 1927 they terminated a little before the end. It is in very fresh condition, and weighs 58g. Price £4,800
