I have a constantly changing selection of bows in all price ranges. At the moment (January 2012) I'm pleased to have a good Sartory viola bow in stock. It's original, except that the thumb grip and lapping were too worn to be saved, but otherwise it's complete. The stick and head are perfect, it's stamped under the lapping as it should be . . . it's 72 grams.
There is a choice of Hill bows, of course.

W.E.Hill & Sons BowA fine silver and tortoiseshell-mounted "fleur-de-lys" violin bow by W.E.Hill & Sons. This is an early example, made by Frank Donald Napier, probably in 1926. It has Napier's mark on the head plate and the slide grooves extend all the way to the end of the stick - after 1927 they terminated a little before the end. It is in very fresh condition, and weighs 58g.
